James J. Cordano, Jr.
James J. Cordano, Jr. is Chairman Emeritus of the James J. Cordano Co. and the managing member of Cordano Capital (a private real estate equity firm). Mr. Cordano has over 50 years of experience in retail development, management and chain store leasing.  

Mr. Cordano joined the firm in 1965 and promptly formed its property management and mall leasing division. He later oversaw the firms invovlement as a partner with the Ernest W. Hahn Company in the development of Sunrise Mall, Citrus Heights, CA, Mt. Shasta Mall, Redding, CA, and Capital Mall, Olympia Washington. He was also a principal in Robacor Associates and oversaw the firm's development, brokerage, and managagement services it provided to the partnership. This partnership went on to develop a number of regional enclosed malls in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

Mr. Cordano received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Real Estate from the University of Arizona.  He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
